 Dark purple, sunfast, ruffled petals; chartreuse throat. Fragrant. High bud count, well-branched scapes ensure many weeks of bloom. The name "Nosferatu" (pronounded nos-fer-AH-too) is possibly an archaic Romanian word synonymous with "vampire" popularized in fiction such as Dracula and the 1922 movie Nosferatu. Will grow under Black Walnut trees. Tetraploid
